SSC CHSL 2021SSC CHSL 2023: SSC Combined Higher Secondary or Staff Selection Commission recruits exam to shortlist the candidates for the post of DEO (Data Entry Operators) and LDC (Lower Division Clerks) both. Applicants who wanted to apply in this exam ensure to collect all the details from the official website. Once the exam gets over, shortlisted candidates will be recruited for the various posts under Group C and D. These posts comprises of SSC Stenographer with Grade C and D post. Candidates increasingly interested in giving the SSC Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination, must know the following important details.

SSC CHSL 2023 Selection Method:

Candidates need to appear and pass the written examination as per the dates. Also, candidates must qualify the skill test for the post of steno and LDC. Written exam for SSC Combined Higher Secondary comprises of Objective Type Question on the topics such as General Intelligence for 50 marks, General Awareness for 50 Marks, General English for 50 Mark, and Quantitative Aptitude for 50 Marks. In the period of two hours, candidates must solve the complete exam and negative marking for only one-fourth paper for attempting wrong answers.

Eligibility Criteria:

Before applying for the SSC CHSL 2023, the candidates should check the eligibility criteria below.

Nationality:

  • Candidate should be the citizen of India
  • Subject of Nepal
  • Subject of Bhutan
  • Tibetan refugee who arrived in India with the intention of a resident there forever before 1 January 1962.
  • The Indian origin person migrated to India from Uganda, Kenya, Zambia, Malawi, the United Republic of Tanzania or Vietnam from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, or the Eastern African countries in order to settle there permanently.

Age limit:

  • As of 1 August 2023 respectively, the candidates ‘ minimum and maximum age should be 18 and 27 years.

Relaxation in Age:

Qualification:

  • Candidates had to pass the 12th or equivalent examination
  • For the data entry operator at the Office of the Comptroller and the Auditor General of India (C&AG), a pass in class 12th with Mathematics as a subject is required.
  • Candidates who obtain the required qualification shall also be eligible on or before 1 August 2023.

SSC CHSL 2023 Application Form:

The application form for SSC CHSL 2023 will be posted to the official website ssconline.nic.in . Candidates who meet the criteria of eligibility for the examination can fill out the application form and submit it online.

  • The candidates will first need to complete a registration form with details such as name, sex, category, address, date of birth, etc.
  • Scanned copies of the photograph and signature of the candidates are also available in the registration form.
  • You can then submit online the duly filled-in registration form. Afterward a registration Id and password are created.
  • Candidates can register by use of the Id and password, and fill in the application form with the other details.
  • It may be submitted together with the application fee once all information has been given in the request form.
  • In the event of a future reference, the candidates must take the form printed and maintain it safe.

Application fee

  • The application fee for general/ OBC candidates will be Rs. 100/-.
  • SC /ST/ex-servicemen category candidates and women will not be required to pay a fee.
  • You can pay the fee with the help of SBI Challan, SBI net banking or credit card.

Exam Pattern:

The SSC CHSL 2023 exam pattern:

Tier I Examination:

  • Examination mode: online
  • Duration of test: 1 hour.
  • Question paper: both English and Hindi (expect section of language)
  • Number of questions: 100
  • Question Type: Multiple Choice
  • Overall: 200 marks
  • Scheme of marking: 2 marks for each correct response are given and 0.5 marks for each improper reply are deducted

Tier III Examination:

Skill Test for Data Entry Operator:

  • Number of key depression given: 2000- 2200
  • Duration: 15 minutes

For Data Entry Operator in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General:

  • Number of key depression given: 3700- 4000
  • Duration: 15 minutes

Typing Test for LDC/ JSA and Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant:

Passage dictation to test the typing speed of 35 words per minute for English medium candidates and 30 words per minute for Hindi medium candidates

Syllabus:

General Awareness: India & Neighboring Countries pertaining to their Geography, General Knowledge, Culture, History, General Science and Scientific Research
General Intelligence: Emotional Intelligence, Social Intelligence, Word Building, Analogy, Number Classification, Drawing inferences, Figural Classification, etc
English Language: Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms & Antonyms, Cloze Passage, Direct/ Indirect Narration, Reading Comprehension, Spot the Error, etc
Quantitative Aptitude: Tables & Graphs, Number Systems, Histogram, Trigonometry, Statistical Charts, Percentages, Ratio & Proportion, Square Roots, etc

SSC CHSL 2023-22 Admit Card:

  • You can download your SSC CHSL 2023 admission card from the official website of the regional / sub-regional website concerned.
  • Approximately one week before the examination date the admission card will be released.
  • The certificate must be transported to the exam center together with a valid identity proof and three passport photographs.
  • In the absence of these documents, no candidate will be allowed to enter the Examining Hall.
  • Only the candidates qualifying for the preceding examination will receive the Tier II and III admission card.

SSC CHSL 2023 Result:

  • In online mode the results of the CHSL examinations will be announced. By visiting the SSC official website, candidates can check the results.
  • Candidates who clear the Tier-I examination will qualify for Tier II and will qualify for the Tier-II clearing.
  • Those who clear the level III (skill test) are required to verify the document.
  • The candidates will be asked to give their postal preference at the time of document verification.
  • Candidates will receive their final allocation based on their position of merit and their option.
  • The final allotment shall however be subject to document verification and candidates ‘ eligibility.

  3. Sir, I am Manish Kumar S /O-Ram Prasad Yadav. I have filled the form of CHSL (10+2).My registration number is 64011343171 filled in it and also online fee mode done. Even after that my application status shows application is incompleted. Why ???Tell me. Plz my form is accepted and find my admit card..
