My name is Ardhendu Saha. I am a resident of Berhampore ,Dist. Murshidabad (West Bengal). My only son, Abhijit Saha is suffering from End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). The disease was diagnosed 10 years ago and since then he is undergoing regular treatment for this disease. Doctors suggested dialysis, and very soon the number of dialysis increased to 3-4 times per month. I was having a small business in Berhampore,(West Bengal) which got closed due to the huge expenses occurring for the treatment. Both of his kidney got failed and the only remedy, as suggested by doctors, was transplantation. I donated my kidney to my son and total operation cost was about Rs.14.5 Lakhs approx, I spended my everything to meet the expenses of the transplantation procedure. The only hope was the survival of my son for next 20 years. The operation occurred in the year 2010 but its only after 5.5 years, the problem occurred again. Gradually the condition of my son deteriorated and presently the condition is so critical that my son has to undergo 3 dialysis in a week. He is presently undergoing treatment in Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, 24 Parganas (North), Barasat, Kolkata, West Bengal 700127
My present economical condition is so poor that it is very difficult for me to meet this huge treatment cost any more. I don’t want to lose my only son, so please help me in this critical condition.
