Krung Thai Bank (KTB) integrated in 1966 at March 14 via amalgamation of Mondhon Bank Limited and Agriculture Bank Limited and Thai government was major shareholder for them. These merged banks were named as Krungthai Bank Limited. During those times bank’s logo was Vayupaksa Bird. Main head office of the bank lies on Yawaraj Road.
After merging of three banks, bank became the larger one and continued with the banking business for good financial standing. As the bank became one after merging with three banks, therefore head office does not have enough of the space for continuing with the operations thus in 1982, bank changed the location of head office and this time selected Watthana District, Bangkok
