Rohit Sharma Phone Number: Rohit Sharma is a well-known Indian international cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and sometimes a right-arm-off bowler. Besides cricket, Rohit support several animal welfare campaigns and the official Rhino Ambassador for WWF-India, and a member of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). He also worked with PETA in its campaign to raise awareness about the plight of cats and dogs in India.

Rohit Sharma Early Life:

Rohit Sharma was born on 30^th April 1987 in the Bansod district of Nagpur, Maharashtra. His mother’s name is Purnima Sharma and his father, Gurunath Sharma, was a caretaker of a transport firm storehouse. His younger brother’s name is Vishal Sharma. He was brought by his grandparents and uncles in Borivali due to the low income of his father. Often he visits his parents’ house located in Dombivli on weekends.

He married Ritika Sajdeh in December 2015 and they both have a daughter born in December 2018.

Early Cricket Training:

Rohit Sharma decided to start his career in cricket and thus he joined cricket camp in 1999. In this camp, Dinesh Lad was his coach and on his suggestion, he changed his school to Swami Vivekanand International School. He gained training on scholarship. He started as an off-spinner who could only bat. He showed his amazing performance in Harris and Giles Shield school cricket tournaments by scoring a century.

Rohit Sharma Cricket Career:

The main cricket career began after Yuvraj Singh was injured in the 2007 World T20. Rohit got the chance to replace Yuvraj Singh in an emergency to play the league where he scored a half-century at the age of 20.
His elegance and free-flowing batting style made him distinct from others. He was compared with Sachin Tendulkar often.
Then he was selected for the ODI team after his best performance in the World T20 and records achieved in Ranji Trophy. He gave inspired performances in the World T20 and the CB series.
However, the Indian Premier League proved quite helpful for him as he keeps his reckoning and was not discarded just like other young and young talents. The first two years in IPL were extraordinary for him as he made 350 runs for Deccan Chargers and proved his excellence and worth.

He continued playing in ODIs by ending the World Cup 2015 campaign and became India’s second-highest run-scorer with 330 runs.
In 2016, he delivered his breakthrough performance as an opener by making 99 runs and winning the faith of selectors and captain. Slowly and gradually, he showed a vast change in his technique of playing.
In the 2017 ODI, Rohit Sharma scored 1293 runs along with six centuries. Being a technically sound cricketer, he has shown improvement in bowling techniques.

Rohit joined IPL in 2008-2010 in the Deccan Chargers team. However, he was taken back to Mumbai Indians from 2011-13.
